2014 Hyundai Veloster

This is my 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo 6sp Manual with both optional "Style" and "Technology" packages. It came with a 1.6L Turbo GDI. The Veloster presents a unique 3 door +hatch design. It is genuinely a fun to drive car that had me excited from the first test drive. Over the years, I have attended events and shows spread across the whole midwest region totaling 9 different states. Illinois my home state and all surrounding within a 10hr drive. Yes, I always drive the car for these trips, this car is not a trailer queen.

The White Pearl paint just looks amazing and the blue accents complement the complete vision for the car. The Powdercoat color is Prismatic Powders Illusion Blueberry.

The build has been influenced by my love for all things car related from the lowrider scene, classic car shows, hot rods, rat rods, and of course mainstream import car culture. Attention to detail is always important while keeping the words "form and function" in mind when making and designing parts.

This car has influenced so much of my life in every aspect over the past 9 years. To most people its just a car but for me my cars are my passion. They are basically family for me. They give me reason to stay focused, work hard, and set goals. I invest countless hours working on and planning each project before creating.

Future plans include doing a complete motor as well as upgrading from the stock turbo. Interior upgrades and improving upon the sound system are also on my to do list. Currently the car is at a full bolt on status with a modest staged tune from Blood Type Racing Inc. I have been running this tune for years safely. It is a rather conservative tune. Although its only a 1.6L she does make somewhere around 250hp and is really a joy to drive. My future goal is to build to a mid 300hp number which can easily be achieved by adding meth and a stuffed turbo.

Recently rolled 50,000 miles. She's garage kept and doesn't see snow ever. In the early years fo building I auto crossed with it. sprinkle in a few short track days for fun here and there. The Veloster is sporty and nimble but comfortable to drive. It will absolutely put a smile on your face.
