2005 Chrysler Crossfire

The car was purchased brand new by my best friend Chris Cope’s mom (Janet) in 2006.

Throughout high school me and Chris would sometimes cruise in the Crossfire together with the top down and they were some of my favorite memories of high school.

Chris unfortunately lost his battle to addiction in 2016.

In 2019 Janet reached out to me to let me know she was selling the Crossfire and asked if I was interested. I immediately jumped on it and Janet graciously sold it to me for a mere $2400. All stock, 73,000 miles.

This Crossfire is more than just a car to me. It is a piece of my best friend I was able to acquire. He was a die hard car guy. Big Turbo SRT4, Coyote Mustang, Trailblazer SS, Charger R/T are just some of the cars I would find myself in when hanging out with Chris. I was a car guy before meeting him, but hanging out with him only fueled the fire.

Every time I get behind the wheel of it, or think of a new mod to do, I always wonder what Chris would think or how he would respond to the idea. It’s nice to have those memories with Chris and have this Crossfire. I do not see myself ever selling it, it just means too much to me.
