2004 Subaru Impreza WRX

This WRX is simply OEM+ currently, tuned just shy of 300bhp. I am currently in the process of restoring all of the paint, the small amounts of rust, and just making sure the car is happy.
I purchased it in July of 2023, and from then until roughly July of 2024, the car had the regular plethora of improperly maintained WRX issues. I’ve spent the last year falling in love with bringing this car back to life. My socials are a journey of that slowly happening! Once this current EJ205 decides to die, I have plans to learn to build an engine. I will be building and dropping in a 400hp capable engine, and swapping the dreaded 5mt over to the STI 6 speed. My current goal is to assess the aging and maintenance needs to make the car safe, fun, and reliable. My future plans are to raise the power slightly, and hopefully have a beautiful chassis to accompany the engine!
