2019 Subaru WRX
The Story
This is my first WRX and I'm super stoked with the performance of this car. From the factory its boosted, AWD, and 6 speed manual transmission. It's also my daily driver and I drove it for nearly a year before doing any modifications.
Since it's a base, my first upgrade was installing OEM foglights, harness, switch plate, and relay. Later, I installed coilovers, front and rear strut tower braces, 18 x 9.5 ESR wheels, and Federal all-season tires...this gave me a little more "stance" and added even more fun, and "swag"
Next, more visual and functional upgrades...Honestly, I got tired of cramming my bikes into my trunk and backseat, and installed the OEM roof crossbars for these cars, and a set of amazon bike racks.
Recently, I wanted bigger wheels and a more aggressive ride height. I picked up 19 x 9.5 Kansei KNP wheels and Toyo all season tires from Fitment Industries. Also, I found a set of 20mm Perrin Spacers on Ebay, and installed those. To keep myself from having a Subie "donk" project and lower the car properly, I installed Blox Racing adjustable rear lower control arms, and Cusco adjustable caster plates up front...Fun stuff.
After a professional alignment, I was good to go!
