2008 Volkswagen R32

This R32 was originally purchased from CoPart and fixed up to be a daily driver for a friend of mine. Unfortunately, he stayed here longer then his Visa allowed, so he had to leave the country and go back to Hungary. I never planned on purchasing his R32, but before he left he wanted the car to go to someone who would take care of it and appreciate it, and he also offered a price I couldn't really refuse. Also, it was a perfect early 32nd birthday present to myself. Ive always wanted an R32 since I knew what they were, but at the time i got my MK5 GTI, I couldnt of afforded a MK5 R32.

I found out the engine already had work done. It came with a full Milltek exhaust with headers & Schrick Cams, OZ Superturismos, and 18z front brakes and dual rear calipers...and the suspension came with HPA Motorsports Coilovers, Whiteline Performance 24mm Front & Rear sway bars + adjustable endlinks, and OEM aluminium front lower control arms. All I did was install the OEM DarkCherry Taillights, BFI Golfball-Style DSG Shift Knob & boot, and an ECS Tuning intake (since the intake it came with was pretty pitiful) so I have no idea who tuned it (probably was United Motorsports but havent confirmed) or if it has a DSG tune already. I also changed the suspension for Raceland Performance bags + airlift P3 management & controller. I picked it up with 108K on the odometer and it feels like it has 30k. Sadly the steering wheel badge with its number was long gone by the time any of us got our hands on the R32. However, a WITW friend gave me his white R32s steering wheel badge with 2720/5000 on it (his R32 unfortantly is long dead so a part of it lives on with mine). So it is 2720/5000 in North America, and apparently its 1 of the 1100 Candy White R32 MKVs brought to North America.

Plans for the R32 are to basically clean it up inside and out, a few more tasteful mods, and enjoy it.
