1998 Volkswagen Golf GTI

The Story

This is where the knuckles started getting cut and new cuss words were invented. After the cabrio my friend had posted this for sale. It needed a bit of work but I was too in love with the wookie noises. I daily drive it for some time and had a blast. Blew the first motor, and said “well. Let’s have some fun” I had the urge to go FI and decided to take it to the professionals over at Redline to worj their magic. Had a .62ar turbonetics turbo on it, and was tuned on a microsquirt by Paul Keiran. This car was a blast to drive , but unfortunately on my 22nd birthday. A couple of buddies and I went out for a cruise and a ringland blew. From the the engine completely ate itself. And from there, is where the ginster was born
