2017 Volkswagen Golf R

2017 Mk7 Golf R - Bought the car bone stock while I was deployed. Always wanted an R but couldn’t afford it in the past and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to own this one. Started modifying it almost immediately. Started out with a tune from APR and loved it. Definitely should have come from the factory with that power. A short while after I decided I wanted more power so I went with a Stage 2 tune from Unitronic and paired it with a new clutch, CTS intercooler, and full exhaust. It was great but deep down you truly can’t have enough so I was told about a company called Equilibrium Tuning who used the Cobb AP for their tunes and decided to give them a try. Ended up with their Stage 2 e30 file and fell in love. It’s almost the perfect daily sleeper now.
