1991 Jeep Cherokee
The Story
Ever since I was a kid, I had always wanted a Jeep, whether it be a wrangler, a Cherokee, comanche, etc.. I just knew at some point I’d own one. I purchased the SNObunny about 6-7years ago from northern CA and I didn’t even know if it ran. The battery was dead, it had no driveline or Tcase in and the transmission was being held up by a broom stick. Blood, sweat and lots of beers have been put into making this ol girl what she is and the best part: she ain’t done yet! Quarter of a million harsh miles on what is believed to be the second motor and she’s still goin strong! This isn’t a trailer queen. I drive it everywhere and anywhere!
How did ‘name’ come about? It sat on a trailer for 2months outside of a buddies shop after I bought it and trailered it back to the Bay Area. It was there because I needed a place to store it while I was junkyard hopping for parts just to get the thing rolling under its own power. My friends kept calling it the snobunny and as cheesy as I thought it sounded, it just kinda stuck. One friend said I should make a hashtag and well, the rest is history.
She sits on Ford superduty axles that have been trussed, regeared to 5.38’s and locked with ARB’s.
JCR armor panels and fuel tank skid with filthy addictions offroad rocksliders, front bumper and a high clearance rear bumper with a tire carrier.
