1999 Porsche 911

I’ve owned this Porsche 911 for almost nine years. I imported it out of Canada when no one really liked the 996 generation. It was kind of rough around the edges but overall pretty decent. It only had 45k miles and I only paid roughly about 10k for the car. I mostly started with the cosmetic upgrades and maintenance. I had done a decent amount of stuff when I lost a timing chain tensioner. It shot metal shaving throughout the engine. That’s when I had it rebuilt and upgraded. I had about 40k into the car and had only put about 5k miles on it when I sold it for basically what I had into it. Instantly regretting it of course. But I did become friends with the guy who bought it. He owned the car for a couple years and put about 5k miles on it himself. He ended up selling it back to me for 33k. That’s when I went all out and put another 20k into the car. I put a VF Engineering supercharger on it, wrapped it, and did the GT3 seats and roll cage. I’ve loved this car for a long time and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Seems like prices are on the rise and I’m glad to see 996s are finally getting the love they deserve!!
