The Story

Growing up my dad had air cooled cars around until I was about 7 he sold his last karmann ghia. After owning a few Volkswagens I decided I was ready to get my own aircooled ride. I found this 66 beetle in some bushes in Longview WA all mossy and rusty. I cleaned it up the best I could. It did not run when I bought it but ended up just having the wrong fuel pump. If you have never worked on a beetle it is the most simple task and so cheap! I was able to get the car back on the road for $30. I changed out the stinger exhaust for a new dual exhaust after burning my knee on the exhaust a few times. There was not much I wanted to do to this car except drive it around! This car brought me and others countless smiles
