The Story

I acquired my MR2 in September of 2022 from a friend in the community. This car was originally destined for the junkyard, as it’s 2.2L 4 cylinder 5SFE engine had shit the bed at 245,000 miles. My friend bought it for junkyard value, and planned to part the car out. He then found that the car was in good shape besides the engine, so he swapped it out with a V6 out of a 1993 Toyota Camry. Now she runs again and sits at 286,000 miles, with many more to come.
