2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
The Story
Bought the car with a knocking ej205 and grinding 5 speed tranny and rear differential. It came with a custom 3 inch exhaust. Rough interior and every bushing you can think of was bad. I threw in the jdm v7 ej207 with the forged pistons. Also converted to an 2008 5 speed transmission with an sti 4.44 gear ratio rear differential. Afterwards I threw in a catless downpipe and cut the cat out of the exhaust. Threw in a 160° thermostat and oil catch can. Found a billet wheel turbo (maxspeeding rods ?)and put that in. Found a guy on Facebook that can tune my car and got it Carberry tuned. After the tune I repainted the car the factory color with extra pearl with a darker base. And painted matched the front lip and side skirts. Took out my tein lowering springs and went with tru harts coils and dropped her an 1.5 inch front and 2 inch in the back. Interior I added a double din radio with 2 12 inch kickers in the trunk with 2100 watt skar amp and Rockford fosgate door speakers. Threw in a eBay short shifter and that’s how the car currently is.
